I wake up every day and thank God for the privilege of knowing Jesus Christ, the blessing of being the husband of the lovely and gracious Danna, the sincere joy of being Daddy to Bailey, Dylon, Preston, Jazmyn, Mahlea, Silas and Joshua and the thrill of leading Journey Church.

I love my job as the Executive Pastor of Journey Church. I began my work here in July of 2007. I am married to another staff member (Michele Oakland). You can almost always find me around our services on the weekend so please make a point to say hi. When I get a chance I am usually surrounded by water chasing after trout with a fly rod. I am a washed up college basketball player who has moved on to be husband to the beautiful, Kate, and father to the rambunctious dog, Kula. We play in the mountains frequently.
Here at Journey I hang out with people who share my same maturity level- middle and high school students! We play games, build friendships, and learn to follow Jesus.

I grew up in Billings Montana and moved to Bozeman in 2001, shortly after surrendering my life to Christ. I was blessed to be part of the plant team for Journey. I now am the Director of Discipleship and live to boldly share Christ’s plan and freedom with others. I also run a Marriage, Engaged and Dating Program with my colleague Jamie. I teach an intense class called Spiritual Boot Camp and am leading classes that will build others up to go out and disciple others.
