I am a native of Los Angeles, California but Montana has been my home since 1991. From 1983 to 1988 I attended Montana State University on a football scholarship (in ’83 & ’84) and the wonderful influence of the people here in Bozeman helped to form my heart for this Community. I have served in ministry over the years along with my wife, June, in connecting with friends in small groups. I also served as the team chaplain of the Montana State Bobcat football team for 18 years. We have been married for 29 years and have four children: Christopher, Garrett, Melanie, and Preston. I am one of the bass musicians here at Journey. Prayer has always been my passion, mainly because of the prayerful model of my mother and faithful leadership of my step-father, who was a pastor. I have been a part of Journey Church for the past five years and it has symbolized all that I have characterized about this place. I love people and I see that same spirit in Journey Church.
